Support Your Local Wildlife
January 10th, 2011 No Comments
Hey, I’ll admit it – I’m an animal lover
So when it came time for me to show my support for my local community, it’s no wonder I chose Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife.
CCFW helps protect many local wildlife and animals, but here in Cape Coral, FL we are most famous for our “burrowing owls”. We boast the largest population of them in the Florida. And I supposed it’s only fitting that I would sponsor and support a group that loves to protect owls!
Burrowing owls get their name because they build their nests underground, burrowing their tunnels into lawns, fields, and grassy areas. We have 2 nests near our house and enjoyed last year as they nested and hatched their new little family:

SO WHAT’S YOUR PASSION?
Leave me a comment below and tell me what your favorite charity is and how you are stepping up in 2011 to support your local community.
Thx, Talk soon! Betty
