Have we finally reached the point where artificial intelligence can reason and associate and learn almost as well as humans?

If you’ve been watching the news or happen to be a fan of  “Jeopardy!”  you may already know who Watson is.  But in case you don’t, here’s the scoop.

Watson is a computer who was competing against the 2 top contestants on Jeopardy to see who can come up with the most correct questions to the answers that Alex Trebek calls out during the show.

And guess what?  Watson won…

In remembrance of my brother-in-law Francis Gorski who passed away suddenly last year, I’ve added a new quote to my signature line for my emails for 2011:
